Change of plans!

Mar 4th & 5th, 2015

PeTA's Ink Not Mink Campaign.

The last two days have been very chill over here in Koh Samui, as always we wake up, go for a run in the blistering heat then spend the day eating amazing food only to waste time until we can eat again.

Yesterday after our run, Vee tried calling her bank for the third time because her card randomly stopped working. Come to find out they just decided to cancel her card and send her a new one which clearly won't work for us since the new card was sent to her dad's house in West Kelowna. To say the least she wasn't impressed and I got a little scared, she's tougher than you think folks!

After somewhat fixing this problem we went to get our daily shakes and somehow came up with a way to completely change our original travel plans. We are now flying to Bali, Indonesia in a couple days and staying there for the next month, then coming back to do Chiang Mai again and also do Loas, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Whoop!

This may seem like a lot of back and forth but I think it may be a blessing in disguise. While in Bali we will be meeting up with one of my previous Crossfit buddy, Carol Dodge who lives in Ubud. She has also given me the opportunity to train her and her friends Crossfit at her gym while I'm there which will be so much fun!

One of my passions along with the million others that I hold dear, is coaching Crossfit and even though I haven't been able to do it in almost a year now I still miss and long for it every single day that passes. So I'm very excited to be able to coach a bit while travelling, who can say they've coached in Bali Ha!

After we solidified our plans we hung out at the beach until dinner, had amazing food as always then went back to crash.

My little cutie having a fresh juice!

Today was pretty similar to yesterday, we didn't get up to much. We went for our run this morning which Vee accomplished something she had wanted since coming here. She wanted to run up the huge hill without stopping which she did! It's been hard for her for the last few days because she came down with a bit of a cold.

After cooling off in the pool and then showering up we headed out to start our day. We stumbled upon an organic natural food store where we got some fresh cold pressed juice. It's almost embarrassing how excited we get when we find places like this, not much in this world is quite as satisfying as finding good and nutritious food.

Samui health store.

Once we inhaled our fresh juice we went to the tourist Center to book our train tickets to Bangkok since we'll be flying out of there to go to Bali. We are definitely all super anxious to get there, we've only heard amazing things about this place.

All booked up and ready to make our way to Bali! It's time to do something with our lives, instead of being lazy all day everyday. We decided to take a Tuk Tuk to the neighbouring beach to see what was happening over there and also Mr Woroby wanted some Starbucks, which we never actually found.

Full moon! It's party time for everyone but us lol!

We walked a few kilometres and checked everything out then proceeded to flagging a Tuk Tuk to come back to Lamai for dinner at the Curry Pot once again. Time to go back, jump in the pool and do our favourite thing, relaxing for the rest of the night!

A bientot,
Janelle Brine
